Angaloz Dog

2-yr-old Trained Adult LGD "Fenworth"
Available for placement now, "Fenworth" is one of the fully trained Guardian Angaloz we hand picked and have trained since he was 7 weeks old. Hailing from working lines in MO. Fenworth stands head and shoulders above every other dog we have. While large, He is still smaller than some of the largest of his breeds which means his feed bill is a little lower. He has proven to be alert, defensive, and bold, ready to take on any threat to his beloved livestock.
Often the first one on the scene, he shows ambition and leadership qualities. He would make a great addition to a welcoming pack, a companion to another LGD, or he will thrive on his own as the sole Guardian of your flock or farmstead. Fenworth is highly intelligent. Though LGDs are not necessarily known for the obedience expected of pet dogs, he does a fairly good job of listening to commands, following hand gestures, and intuitively knowing what you want him to do.
Fenworth has proven himself to be content to guard chickens and poultry of all sizes, sheep, calves, and goats. He has shown exceptional agility and patience around the larger cows who try to push him around. He'll stand his ground if he must, but he has never harmed them.
If Fenworth could speak he'd tell you there's nothing better in life than to spend it with the animals that need his protection. He is content and fulfilled in his purpose which he fully embraces.
